Whay f*****g Hey!!!!!!
Sessions are far apart these days and good sessions even farther apart, so
when they arrive!!!!!!!!!!
JaneBo went out first with the Powerglide and 6M Storm . It was gusty and a
long time since her last session, but things went well and she came back
well pleased after about 1.5 hours. I walked the nipper up and down and he
was more than happy playing on his 'truck' and watching mum.
I then rigged the 6.7 and set off bootless (thought I had left them behind
and the comments on the bosrds forum left me thinking I should give bare
feet a go)...... BAD IDEA!
After 2 runs I came back in to give up. The deck was like ice and blood was
already pooring from my right foot where I had 'kicked' the mast foot. I
then found my boots and headed back out.
Everthing came together. The wind picked up and became less gusty. The
(repaired) sail was rigged right and the harness lines were spot on.
Straight onto the plane and screamed across the harbour...repeat several
times.....
The wind picked up even more, but the sail sorted it all out (rigged
perfectly!). Hammered across the bay repeatedly. Overtook may kitesurfers
and quite a few windsurfers (not bragging, just enjoying!)
Had a go a quite a few carve gybes, never made any, but who cares! at least
I had the time/energy/wind to try!
Can't stop smiling, can I do it again tomorrow sir?......
Five stars for sure
